I really do like the concept you're getting at with these, believe me. I just think that flash isn't the best format to put them in. Or rather, flash in icon-sized slots with cutesy Arial font isn't the best format to put them in. I really, really, really think more people, including myself, would fall in love with your work if you smartened up your presentation: larger window, and maybe some variation in font..? I know simplicity is what you're going for, but I think you should at least consider playing around with space. Make some text small, some big, but keep the general white-on-black overlay. I guess what I'm getting at is for you to emphasize what you consider the strongest words in these little bite-size quotes, so that more people get what you're saying.

Really, really great for your first flash. Although, instead of flashing their names in front of each stick figure, you could've made one a different color so that we could tell the two apart better. Also, it would be better without the random black splotches flashing across the screen before something cool happened. Other than that, fantastic. Can't wait to see more.
